'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is currently midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial significant honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
